Eating in Okinawa

I ate very well this trip.  Luckily, I also walked a lot so I didn't gain any weight.

We stayed at the Estinate Hotel again and ate breakfast there every day and dinner on the first night.

Yes, this is breakfast

The white blob is yogurt.

Our favorite restaurant near Shuri-jo never disappoints us.

When we were there in January, a bird stole some of Ted's lunch.  This time the staff warned us.

This was the first time we had eaten at this seafood restaurant.  It was an interesting place.  We both ordered "Fish a Set Meal".

Like many Japanese restaurants or bars, there is a price per person charge of 300 yen and they bring some type of appetizer or snack before the meal.

Farm's Kitchen restaurant is new and is connected to the Chinese garden.

One day we ate lunch at Ootoya, a chain restaurant that we like.

Napoli Pizza is another inexpensive chain restaurant that I like.

We didn't eat here, but we liked the giant lobster outside the restaurant.

Are you full yet?

Those meals look interesting. Does Japan have American restaurants as we have different ethnic ones in the USA? The one breakfast looked like a Dutch Betty pancake.

Hmm, looks delicious! It's important to eat well if you are doing a lot of walking.
