Manko Waterbird and Wetland Center

This is a great place to see "real live nature" in the city of Naha.

There were some interesting displays inside - Check out Dougie Fairbanks' post to see them.

Outside, you can walk along a boardwalk trail to see birds and other creatures, along with signs to tell you what you are seeing.

These things are creepy, but interesting!

Another lovely place to visit Pamela, there are some interesting creatures in the world aren't there...I think they are called mud skippers from memory.

As a vegetarian you might not have tried grilled mudskippers? Trust me, they are NOT delicious!!!!!

I always love seeing nature close up. Looks like a fun place to go and do that!

Very interesting spot! One of the birds on the signs looked familiar, so I searched for it and found it migrates to Australia when the seasons change.
