Suntory Whiskey Museum
Neither
of us are whiskey drinkers, but we saw the Suntory Whiskey Museum and decided
to take the free tour. At the information area at the entrance, we had to sign
that we were of legal age to drink and that we would not be driving home.
It was
all very interesting and may be even more interesting for those who can read
Japanese. Advertising is big business everywhere
in every language, I guess.
At the
end of the tour, there was the option to sample some of the whiskey for a small
fee. We said, “Why not?” and chose three
from the hundreds available. We are always up for new experiences and I’m glad
we tried it out, but am pretty sure I won’t be drinking whiskey on a regular basis!
