Most of
the snow is gone, but there are still a few patches of dirty snow here and there.
At the
bridge park, the sakura and mokuren (magnolia) are just starting to bloom. I just
noticed this trash can yesterday. The trash
can is there, but they would rather you take home your trash. They really want you to take home your dog’s
poop.
At the
track near the library, elementary school children were running. One child ran right out of his shoe.
Winter
is harsh here in Hokkaido, but spring totally makes up for it.

Love the photos. Spring has arrived here and I am walking outside again. So nice after being in all winter.
Thank you for sharing your Spring walk. I love walking ands get out at least five times a week.
Beautiful flowers. It seemed like winter lasted forever there but spring definitely came with a vengeance! My favorites are the daffodils (of course :D).
Maybe we need the harsh winter/sweltering hot summer to really appreaciate the beautiful sping or the cool autumn. Isn't it nice to find new flowers every day on your walk. Keep walking!
beautiful photos
I am so happy to hear you are feeling better! Spring is definitely a present for walkers! (Unless you have allergies :)
