How Deep Is the Snow?
Where I
live it snows a lot. Roofs have to be
shoveled off pretty often because the weight of the
snow can cause buildings to collapse. Yesterday,
university workers shoveled off the roof of the bike garage in front of our
apartment. About time, wouldn’t you say?

that is a lot of snow -- and I live where we get a lot of snow.
I promise never to complain at the amount of snow we get lol
I well remember doing that and ring roped to a chimney in case of slipping. I am so very grateful we don't get snow like that in New Zealand
My goodness that is thick snow!
Oh, I am so glad I do not live there. Where I live in Northern Indiana USa our average snow fall is about 65 inches a year spread out over about 5 months. I absolutely hate snow. I looked on the Longitude/Latitude map of where you live and you are north of where I am. Not sure how the ocean plays into your weather..would be interesting to know.
xx, Carol
