Tiny and cute!
The lining makes me think of a pair of knitted mittens I had as a young child. Although made from soft, thick wool, they never kept my hands warm in the icy winters in Sweden. Not until I was old enough to line them, and instantly they protected my fingers from the cold. Even if your mitten is 'just' an ornament, the house elf that will wear it (at night, when you are asleep) will be grateful it is a lined mitten!
