Progress on my Crazy Bag

This piece oozes charm - it is evident that you love working on it.
What are the individual stitches on the shibori piece? Square with a French Knot?
And what are the double Y shaped stitches (near the edge underneath the red circle)?

Wow! Pamela, your stitching is beautiful. But how do you know what will work, and where to put those stitches? I especially like the black section to the right of the red circle ..... are they pieces of fabric or stitched squares with black French knots in the centres?
