Money Exchange Machine

There are many foreign visitors in Okinawa, who need to change their home currency into yen. I didn't try it out because even though Okinawa is far away, it is still Japan, so I didn't need to change money.   It looks like it is so easy and convenient to do in Naha.  This machine is found at the monorail station!

Have you ever seen such a simple way to exchange money?

That's really cool. I've only ever seen those small, kind of shady looking cubicles at airports and train stations where people will exchange your money, charging hefty fees of course!

Very interesting! It must be quite complex to recognise all those different currencies. For example we have two different versions of $5 and $10 notes circulating at the moment, so it would need to recognise them both.
