That looks like a very interesting place to visit! I can understand why items would be expensive, if the dyeing and then the weaving is all done by hand. Beautiful to look at, anyway!
Interesting place to visit.
Oh, it must had been so interesting!
xx
This looks like such an interesting place to visit. I love seeing the behind the scenes on how things are made, that we really take for granted a lot of the time. Thanks for sharing!
Films or demonstrations of how to produce these expensive items prove how much work has gone into each one. Unfortunately these things are usually far too expensive for our budgets.
A very interesting visit, Pamela! Understandable that the items would be expensive.
Thank you for showing us!
Hugs,
Barbara xx
I would be in seventh heaven here, although frustrated things were so expensive! It looks just fascinating and I'm so glad you shared it with us!
How interesting! So they dye the threads, than weave different patterns with the different shades of yellow/brown? It's a beautiful effect.
So very interesting, what a great palace to visit
