Stitch Group Sunday - Making Leaves

Yesterday we met for the first time in 2023. I love when I can get together with these ladies. A special treat yesterday was that one of our original members came.  She wasn't able to stitch with us because she needed to study for the upcoming national nursing exam, but she did interact with us from her study table and joined us for afternoon tea at the end.

The last few months, we have been working on different stumpwork items.  We made dragonflies, flowers (pansies, roses, daisies), berries (strawberries and raspberries), and today worked on four types of leaves. For my project, I have an idea for an arrangement on the top of a box lid - more on that next time.

Here are the leaf makers, hard at work, but still having a good time.

As always, we end with tea time.

Until next time...

Your leaf craftsmen are very nice. Each working hard at their job.
The usual snack time seems to be fun.

I hope your group member pass the nursing exam.
