Friday Finish - Blackwork Sampler Pillow
The Blackwork Sampler that I finished stitching as part of my Summer One Thread a Week Challenge is now a pillow.
The backing fabric came from my stash and I think it is perfect for this pillow. I made an envelope so that it can be removed if it ever needs to be washed.
I bought the pillow form at the local fabric/craft store.
I'm happy that this is finished and am pleased with the result.

Oh, Pamela. That is just BEAUTIFUL!
I never manage to get my head around Blackwor,k and dread to think of all the problems I would have to fit the geometric pattern into a Dresden Plate design with its slanted and curved outlines.
I also love the border - the jigsaw puzzle lines make my eyes go in and out of focus!
I love blackwork and your finish is just beautiful. The backing fabric is perfect.
This is gorgeous. Just perfection. I think one of my favorites of your work.
It's beautiful!
Your pillow is lovely! I particularly like the use of the Dresden Plate design to allow for display of many blackwork designs. So nice!

It's lovely Pamela and that backing fabric is just perfect. xx
Hello Pamela,
wow, a great pillow and the backside fabric is perfect.
Very very nice.๐
Congratulationsfor the completion.
I really liked all the designs. It's so wonderful to turn into petals and make them into a single flower.
The choice of lining is perfect and I think the envelope style is a good idea.๐
That is a beautiful pillow, nicely done! I like how you made it easier to take off for washing if needed.
Oh that's perfect! Turned out really pretty too.
