Work in Progress Wednesday

Four Seasons Kogin progress - I finished the winter section and chose this new Japanese shirt fabric for the backing.  The finish will be coming soon.

Toki, who blogs at 私がめがねをかけるときand I are both stitching this kogin piece. (She blogs in Japanese, but there is a translation button on the top left under the title, if you don’t read Japanese.) Check out her progress!

Rapunzel progress

I am using this book, Why Call It Blackwork?, by Marion Scoular, for the Rapunzel filling patterns.

That book is a great resource isn’t it. I admire the way you have made your choices - they really suit.

Hello Pamela: Lovely progress on the Kogin, it is beautiful, like the backing fabric so pretty.
Congratulations on your progress on your other designs.

Wow! Such a lot of progress - in just one week. Where DO you find the time?
How are you going to display the Kogin Seasons?
Soon there is only Rapunzel's hair left. Will you work that part last?

You have already finished the winter and are moving towards completion. Very nice.😊I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product. I'm still in the middle of “Autumn”.
Wasn't Rapunzel purchased as a kit?
Do you draw pictures yourself or sew designs from books?

Your Kogin looks great! Looks like you'll have another big finish this year (or two? Looking at you, Rapunzel!)
