Your appliqués and embroidery are very beautiful.
I see I have to look into applique too... it's not difficult, it's just sewn on (applied) with very small stitches, isn't it? And patience is required.
I'm currently in the process of hand sewing a binding to my quilt - it's my second large quilt.
Thank you for your beautiful photos - I hope you enjoy sewing.
Hug from Viola
I am especially loving the Mt. Fuji!
Good progress all around.
What will you be turning the Hawaiian block into? Part of a quilt? A cushion?
I know it's a trick of the camera, but the stitching on the Japanese Cross Stitch pattern looks like it has been done with beads and not thread! The stitches are so delightfully plump.
Your works are beautiful, Mount Fuji instills calm and tranquility
Hello Pamela: You are very interesting, you have so many different interests for working with your hands, the Hawaiian design looks lovely, Mt. Fuji is so lovely, just curious will it be a hanging or pillow or?
Have a great day.
Catherine
