Work in Progress Wednesday - Mary Queen of Scots

This project has been on hold for the longest time, when all I had left to do was the beads. Initially, I was excited about stitching the two companion pieces to my finished Queen Elizabeth I. I ordered both of the kits from the designer in the US. After receiving the two kits, I emailed a question to the designer/seller. She was rude in her response and said to leave her alone, she couldn’t help me because she was getting ready for a big kit sale of her designs. I never heard from her again. She had my money so she was done with me. I worked on this piece from time to time and even started the other companion piece (Bess), but I wasn’t so excited about them after that. So anyway, all that was left on Mary was the beading. I finally decided that I just needed to finish it. This is how far I’ve gotten this week with the beads. I will try to keep working on it until finished.

How sad!
Some people are just joy-killers! I guess she is short-tempered by nature and stressed out by the business of her kit sale.
It's a beautiful design and you have done a great job, so it would be a pity not to finish it. By completing it, you will also have beaten the emotional problem and can feel very proud of your good job.
Thinking of you!

Keep going. It's an unusual piece. You will be pleased once it's finished.

That's horrible customer service. But it's a beautiful piece and I think it will be worth the time for every stitch.

I can quite see why you have lost your enthusiasm! What a dreadful way to treat a customer especially as you could potentially have spent money in her 'big sale'. But Mary is looking good. xx
