Miho no Matsubara on a Rainy Day
Last Sunday was a rainy day. I originally planned to do a different outside thing, but the rain made me change my mind. I walked to Miho instead. Because of the rain, there were few people there. Miho no Matsubara is one of those places I can visit again and again.

Miho no Matsubara on Saturday Morning
I've been here many times, but I never get tired of it. I was surprised there were so few people around.
This is the new museum building. It is very nice, but photos are not allowed inside.
After that, we went to a little cafe called Oasis.
I was happy to spend a little time with friends. Saturdays in Japan are good!

Golden Week 2022 - Miho no Matsubara
Yesterday I decided to walk to Miho no Matsubara. According to Google Maps, it's four and a half miles from where I live, so I had a nice walk there and back. I have been to Miho no Matsubara several times, the last time was New Year's Day 2021, when I went to see the first sunrise of the year.
First, here is Mt. Fuji as I left my apartment, sitting in the clouds.
It was warm when I started out, but once I got near the sea (that red square on the map), there was a nice cool breeze.
I walked on the walkway near the beach and there was a nice view.
There is a path through the pine trees.
The giant really really old pine trees are the stars here.
There is a nice wooden walkway that leads to the Miho Shrine.
It was a nice way to spend the afternoon. I really should visit this place more often.
