I’ve been
working on the big quilt a lot this week and didn’t put as much time on this
one.I did complete three more patterns.

A while
back, my friend and I took a pottery class in Sapporo. We left our pieces to dry and be fired and
just went back for them last Sunday. The
drying/baking process made my cup smaller.
I haven’t
tried drinking out of it yet.I hope it
is functional.
The
class directions say to bead heavily for the first eight inches on each side, then
just a few beads here and there.I
understand why, because it is very heavy! I am almost at eight inches on one
side and about half on the other.
I made
it all the way around with the quilting. Next step is the flip edge.I made up a bunch of hexagons a while back
and I think I’ll have enough.If not, I’ll
make more.
