Japanese Class Needlebooks

Every stitcher needs a place to keep her needles, so last week after Japanese class, we made felt needlebooks.




 
Next week we are going to talk about starting a bigger project.

What nationalities are these ladies? I'm assuming some South East Asians and Chinese...

Reminds me of Chinese classes in Taiwan.=)

Many of the students in the Japanese classes are from China. These three from my class are from Taiwan, Malaysia, and China.

What lovely needlebooks! What stitch did they use for the flowers?

Thank you. The flowers are little applique pieces that were tacked to the covers.
