Kyoto Museum of Traditional Crafts - Fureaikan
In the afternoon after attending the Hina Matsuri Festivities at Shimogamo Shrine, I went to the Fureaikan traditional craft center. I looked at all of the traditional Japanese crafts on display (no photos allowed), took a Yuzen class and made a table mat, then watched a maiko performance. This is a great place to visit!

Glad you've enjoyed the visit to Fureaikan crafts center. You look lovely in the picture.
That looks like an ideal outing - a craft activity and a traditional performance. Will you show us a close-up of your Yuzen table mat?
The handmade hairpins in her hair looks beautiful.
Wonderful to learn new crafts. The Kimono is beautiful.
Looks like a fun place!
I would have gone absolutely bonkers there! This is my kind of place! And I loved seeing your happy face. The mat looks pretty.
