The Camino - Part 14, The Last Day's Walk, Then Home

I met up with Don, a retired doctor from Houston, and walked with him the rest of the day.  He was the first American I met.

Which way?  We went left.

At Last!  Santiago

Hotel Virxe da Cerca, Santiago Spain

My last lunch in Spain, at the Madrid airport.

Mt. Fuji greeted me when I got back to my town.

What an achievement! BRAVO! I am glad read and followed the 'DON'T STOP NOW' signs all the way.
Thanks for posting the first couple of pictures. Were the flowers on the graves real or plastic?

You are one brave lady to walk that far mostly by yourself. Loved seeing your pictures.

Gorgeous pictures. What a great trip. How far did you generally walk in a day? Was it logistically difficult to organize? Would you recommend this one?

Congratulations! It's been great following the walk from a different direction - I need to visit Portugal again! xx

What a fabulous accomplishment. A pilgrimage like this takes good feet, a good back and a lot of time! I'm so glad you shared it with us and recorded it so beautifully.
