The Camino - Part 10 - Refuge, Beaches, Vigo, and Beyond

Leaving Baionia, I came to the water wildlife refuge.

The water was cold.

Hotel in Vigo

My hotel started serving dinner at 9:30 pm - much too late for me!  I found a casual restaurant nearby.

I was the only one in the breakfast room early the next morning.

People who go to Spain's Costa del Sol (Mediterranean) for a beach holiday are chocked to find the water in Portugal (Atlantic Coast) to be so cold.
You are standing in very shallow water and still finds it cold. It must have been icy further out.

"Snow White and the 7 garden gnomes" made me smile. The sand sculpture is wonderful.

I'm really enjoying your trip! Thanks for posting so many interesting photos of it.

Those late dinners are one of my least favourite things about Mediterranean countries! But it does look delicious. Those sand sculptures are pretty cool as well!

What a fabulous sand sculpture! And your hotel looks lovely. Perfect weather for a walk I think. A LONG walk!
