Pamela, thank you for taking us on a mini vacation today! Your photos are wonderful, and I love learning about places I'll never have a chance to actually visit myself.
There is so much age and history here. And I love how the orange pops with the muted colors of the building. What a wonderful spot to visit.
Wonderful photos and history, climbing all those steps will keep you fit!
Hi Pamela what lovely shrines and boy thats a lot of steps xx
Pamela: The buildings are so interesting to see, oh my so many steps.

Another interesting shrine. The view from the top of the steps looks good! Are those stone animals foxes?
Really interesting shrines. I am always fascinated by the clothing that is placed on the fox statues. These look like they have shower caps on. Thanks for sharing!
Shrines and steps really do go together. I'm glad to hear you had a good time on your trip!
