Friday Finish - Bible Cover

A few years ago I made a cover for a friend's bible.  She recently got married and she and her husband received a new bible as a wedding present. She asked me to make a cover for this bible.  It is very thick, so I made a strap with a snap to keep it closed.  I also made a pocket from a ladies handkerchief in the back to hold the card from the gift giver.  Finally, I made a matching square bottom bag to carry it in.

Very nice! That will keep the bible protected beautifully.

The handkerchief is a beautiful addition.

What a pretty and practical gift, and a special touch to add the pocket.

What a cute and thoughtful bible cover and matching square bottom bag.
I like the thick color and your designed form. Especially width of strap looks like useful.
