Friday Finish - Crazy Heart Bag and More Earthquake News

I made this cross stitch heart into a drawstring bag, with tulip ends on the drawstrings and some cat fabric for the lining.

Wednesday early morning we had another earthquake. It was small, but it still woke me up.  The thing that makes this one newsworthy is that the epicenter (the red x on the map) is Miho, which is in walking distance of where I live! The previous two earthquakes we felt here had epicenters in the ocean off the north eastern coast of Japan. What next?

The bag is lovely! The earthquake, not so much.

Every time there is a tremor one stops, waits and wonder: Is this the BIG one? Some quakes are really scary making you dash for safety under a sturdy table and away from windows that could shatter.
Yesterday I had a discussion about the possibility of Mt Fuji erupting, and the ash and poisonous gas it would emit. That is something which would affect you a lot. Have you prepared with a stock of food and water, googles and masks, masking tape to seal the windows...
We live in a dramatic country!
Stay safe!

A very pretty bag.
Thinking of you all. Stay safe and as Queenie commented, are you all prepared. Just hope it never come to that situation where you need your supplies.

This is so pretty! That's a little creepy -- being so close to where you live. Stay safe (as you can!)

That bag is very cute! It must be very scary to have so many earthquakes.
