Seeing the show with friends must have been fantastic. The winning quilt is just mind-blowingly over the top!
Yes, being with friends is fabulous. That first piece is amazing, the tiny rabbit and flowers, wow.
Best of Show is stunning. It would be difficult to make a three dimensional kilt.

Is it normal for quilts to have unevenness?
Is it a trend to have manyworks with prominent unevenness?
The detail work on these quilts is unbelievable. And I really love the "Friends" photo. That just makes me smile!
I'm glad you had a great time with your friends! To noone's suprise, the show winning quilts are stunning. Especially that first place, wow! Looks like some intricate embroidery.
