Ito City River Walk

I was in Ito City Thursday. It was a sunny warm day and I was happy to be able to take a walk along the Matsukawa River.

Great place for a walk!

What a pleasant promenade along the river, lined with cherry trees and elegant architecture.
Are there holes cut out in the bamboo stems? Do you think there are lightbulbs inside to make for beautiful illumination at night?

Beautiful place to walk and enjoy the building, sculpture and trees. Love the swirly sculpture with the mosaic bits.

Pamela: Very pretty tour and the tulips are so pretty, I long for the flowers to bloom here in Minnesota.

You traveled to a very nice and stunning place. The bamboo with holes in its hole will turn into a lantern at night, making the atmosphere even more beautiful.๐Ÿ˜Œ Thank you for sharing these wonderful photos.๐Ÿ™‹
