Weekend Trip Report
Ted and the canoe group made it back safe and sound. It sounds like everyone had a good time. They camped at a nice prefecture (state) park.
On Saturday, they participated in a canoe race and two of the students finished in first place, winning a big trophy and canoe paddles.
After the race they had a Genghis Khan barbeque and everyone ate well.
And cooked and ate what they caught.
They are a brave group. One of the “super hero students” caught a snake with his bare hands.
Ted said they were practicing their warnings and how to say insect repellent while riding in the van. They think it is funny and I’m okay with that. If they practice English outside of class, they can laugh all they want.
