Japanese women in kimonos always looks so elegant. Nice souvenir - but I don't know that I could drink out of a square cup. Do you drink from the corner? Otherwise I would be pouring the drink down myself.
Fun sight seeing and cultural experience. Looks like it was a good day for a hike too.
this is really beautiful. I still have my wooden sake cup from Japan. I think it's interesting, drinking from them. What a delightful way to spend New Year's Day!

It's beautiful, and those cups are really cute - they'd also make great planters for little plants.
