I haven't seen anyone reading a folded newspaper like that in ages, it used to be so common.
I was reading a newspaper and a young man commented “I didn’t know papers still existed”.
Now we seldom see passengers reading books except students. Happy Sunday to you.
We were talking at our craft group the other day and a lady had been on an evening out. There were over 50% of the people sitting at tables supposedly eating a meal whilst checking their phones.
The other difference? He's considerably older than the other passengers. Me, I'm like the old guy. No smart phone here.
Makes me thing they are all going to send up with sore necks, and none of them look happy.
I used to think everyone with their nose in their phone were reading the latest posts on FB. Now I realize that there is so much to read on the internet that I was being pretty judgmental. I read so much more on my tablet than I ever did before.
xx, Carol
I usually read books on my phone when traveling, just because it's so much easier to carry around than actual books!
I'm like Leonore, I read books on my tablet or kindle for convenience.
