The People's Choice - Traditional Samplers
Every month, on the first Saturday, Jo at Serendipidous Stitching hosts a Stitch A Long, with the topics chosen by her readers. This month's topic is traditional samplers. I have done some samplers, but maybe not so much in the traditional category. Anyway, here's what I have this month.
I stitched this reproduction type sampler with silk threads and finished it into a wallet.
I made this little sampler with Danish Flower Thread, but haven't finished it into anything yet.
The Puzzle Purse was a project when I was in the Carolina Sampler Guild.
This Summer Sampler Box and little toolies were designed by Denise Harrington Pratt and a class I took at an EGA seminar.
The pin cushion I use most is a little sampler.
I stitched these twelve sampler pears, which are available as free charts from Samplers and Santas.
The Sneek Sampler is a work in progress.
I like traditional samplers, but counting can be a challenge!

So many sampler and your stitching is beautiful.
I love samplers and these are such wonderful ideas and so beautifully executed. They also look rather complicated -- I can see why the counting could be tricky!
They all look wonderful, but the little puzzle purse is amazing!
You certainly have a lot of things to show for each 'The People's Choice'.
These samplers are all beautiful and the puzzle purse is AMAZING!
Thanks for taking part in The People's Choice this month. I love all your samplers, such a wide variety of finishing techniques too.
I love that puzzle purse, I have saved the photo to try recreate it in paper first.
What a great collection! I love that puzzle purse, it looks so clever! And the Summer Sampler Box is lovely too!
The puzzle purse is my favorite <3
Great samplers! Love how you used some un-traditionally bright colours on some of them, too.
Lovely samplers Pamela!
The little pin cushion would have to be my favourite as I love tiny stitched items most 😁
Hugs,
Barbara xx
