Friday Finish - "Guess How Much I Love You" Afghan
The design for this afghan comes from the book by Sam McBratney and illustrated by Anita Jeram.
After finishing the cross stitch and back stitching, I made a fringe edging by pulling out threads.
Have you read this book? It's a children's book, but I didn't know of it until I was older. If you haven't read it, please do!

That is beautiful Pamela, I have read the book I enjoy picture books!
CONGRATULATIONS. You are so quick!
This Afgan is charming!
I haven't read the book, but I am sure it is worth reading, and enjoying the illustrations - most children's books are a delight to get lost in!
Beautiful finish!
I hadn't read the story, but I found a YouTube video of it being read. Lovely!
Pamela: The Afghan is beautiful, the design is adorable.
I have never seen or heard of this book before, I will need to look this up.
Thank-you for sharing.

I can hardly believe you did this in cross stitch -- it's fabulous. The detail is remarkable. When I first saw it, I thought it was a painting. I don't know this book but I think I might need to find it for my Littles.
Beautiful finish! I didn't realize how much fabric there was around the design. I think it will be really cozy.
The book I know - I read it a couple years ago, but didn't know it as a child.
