I love radishes. Do you get to eat Daikon much? That's pretty close!
Are they spicier than wasabi? The first time I had that I thought it would blow the back of my head off!
My only experience with radishes was in school cookery classes, where we had to cut them and put them in iced water to make radish roses. I tried tasting one and wasn't impressed.
LOVE them, and can easily find them in Tokyo. They are far more expensive than yours, though, usually 120yen or more, so a luxury.
Pamela: I could eat these all day everyday, I love red and white radishes.

I like red radish. The price you bought is quite good. I will buy if am there.
I often see it in my neighborhood supermarket. But I don't buy it because it's expensive.
Many Japanese people don't understand“red radish”. I think “red radish”can be understood by“radish”.
And radish is“daikon”.(White)
radish only says Japanese.
I'll eat them, but I don't think I'd actively seek them out to buy!
