Kofukuji Temple and a few other things in Nara

As I walked back toward the train station, I passed Kofukuji, part of the Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara World Heritage Site.

The information was in English as well as Japanese.

This fountain suddenly turned as as I approached it.

Jukyoji Temple

I'm always amazed by these large old cycad trees at temples.

After this, it was back to the train station and on to my next adventure.

You max out your time! And I'm glad you take us with you. Those temples/shrines remind me of wedding cakes!

I haven't been to either temple. I'm more and more envious.😄
looks like you can have a relaxing time. I'm sure the air was delicious too.

So many beautiful temples to explore! It's amazing how empty everything was when you were visiting.
