It must have been a wonderful exhibition.
You can see some of Yumeiji Takehisa's artwork here:https://moderntokyotimes.com/japanese-art-and-yumeji-takehisa-the-sadness-will-last-forever/
Google Koji Fukiya to see more of the kimono-clad beauties of Taisho and Showa
Sounds like a great exhibition. The examples n the photographs are delightful. xx
I would love this exhibition. It looks fabulous beyond words.
When I read the description, I felt that pattern definitely had a Taisho romance fell to it.
(Taisho is the name of the Japanese era. ) I love the culture of the Taisho era and the Meiji era before that.
This one was a real head scratcher for me! I think we already talked about how 'Verkehr' is the German word for traffic/transportation, but 'Meisen' is also a German word, it means tits (the bird, not the anatomy)!
