Thank-you Pamela for sharing another beautiful Shrine with us.

Congratulations on 13 years! I happened across your blog a while back, and have enjoyed learning about Japan from you. Dot in North Carolina
I wish I’d discovered your blog sooner as I enjoy reading about the places you visit, your friends and the projects you do.
Oops, anonymous is me!
Congratulations on your milestone. Like you, I am very grateful for having been able to settle down in Japan.
What is very attractive about smaller Shinto shrines like Awashima Shrine is that you can see how they are part of the local community. There are no gates, the plot is always open, there is shade from large trees, maybe some flowering bushes, benches to sit on and Radio Taiso gymnastics every morning at 6.30.
Congratulations on 13 years! You've done an awful lot of posts in that time, and that's quite an accomplishment! Lovely shrine, as well!
Congratulations on your 13th anniversary.๐ Your hometown, Iwamizawa City, is already covered in snow, and it looks like it's going to be difficult to shovel it.๐ต
13 years without missing a day! You are one dedicated lady.
