Monday Morning Star Count
The hand quilting is coming along, one or two or more lengths of thread a day.
While I stitch, I can look out the glass door and see the gate ball players in the park behind my apartment. There are many more than on a usual day, so I think it must be either a competition or an end of the year get together. The weather continues to be very nice, more like October than the end of December. The days will start getting longer now.

Merry Christmas Pamela: Not sure if you celebrate the Holiday.
Love the quilt, you inspire me to try quilting.

When you work on a project with 'auto-pilot' stitching like quilting, it is nice to lift one's eyes from the work and look at people in the park, Mt Fuji or the wonderful sunshine. Enjoy your quilting.
I'm glad your hand quilting went smoothly. It's warm during the day when there's sunshine, so it's perfect for sports such as gateball.
Every bit of progress counts!
How weird the seasons are this year. We finally arrived in winter now, it's been freezing cold all day!
