You must have had a wonderful day amidst all that warm friendship. I watched this kind of basket-making on TV once. It looked easy in the beginning (weaving the bottom), then complicated to start the sides with all those pegs needed. After a couple of rounds, it again seemed to be easy-peasy. Will you put Santa on during Christmas only? Anyway, I bet you had a lot of fun.
The basket is charming, as is the cake and the healthy pizza a perfect lunch.
Lucky you!
First of all, happy birthday! That looks like a marvelous way to celebrate -- with friends, a wonderful lunch, and doing something creative. I love the basket. It's super cute. What a terrific afternoon!
Happy birthday, Pamela.
I'm sure you enjoyed your creative activities while enjoying tea, meals, and birthday cake with your friends. The carved Buddha statue next to you also looks happy.
Crafting adventure are the best adventures - the only way to make them even better is cake. Score!
Happy Belated Birthday! What a lovely way to spend it with friends, and what a fun craft to make.
