Stitch Group Sunday - Stitcher’s Omamori and Birthday Celebration

 First - Show and Tell

Paper picture on the left, stitched picture on the right.

We started a new project - the stitcher’s omamori. This is a sample I made ahead of time (both sides).

Each stitcher chose her own stitches and threads. We all like some sparkle!

In addition to stitching, the group celebrated my birthday, with “out of this world good” pizza made in the wood stove and carrot cake. They also gave me some lovely gifts.

I am ever so grateful for my stitching friends!

You all had another wonderful stitch 'n eat meeting!
The Shizuoka landscapes are stunning, and I love your new stitcher's omamori. Did you see the little mitten ornaments at Needle 'n Thread?
Great pizza with plenty of topping!

It has become a tradition to celebrate your birthday with homemade pizza.
The T-shirt you are wearing is also nice.😂

The pizza looks delicious - I want some! The stitching looks great too, I do love the wall hanging with the autumn foliage.
