Work in Progress Wednesday - Sonoko's Finished!

Here she is – a two sided doll ornament.  I finished the edges with twisted cording I made from two colors of DMC floss.

She sat unfinished for years, but it only took a couple of weeks to finish her.  How many more projects do I have that that I’m stuck on and probably just need a little more to finish?

Your finish looks beautiful. I like the added touch of the fabric at the back.

She looks wonderful! I love that her obi pops out a bit.

It is such a charming ornament and now has your trademark - a stylish edge.
Doesn't it fell good to have completed one more WIP?

I love her, Pamela, she's great!

Yes, it's often the case that, when we just get on with something, it doesn't take that long.:-)

It really is beautiful, Pamela. The back interests me.....it looks 3 dimensional....did you stitch on an extra bit?

Thank you! The obi in back is made with ribbon doubled over, then attached to the canvas.
