Smalls Stitch A Long 2019 - July

This month I finished the Flapper Cat ornament. I think the front looks cute.  I put press on felt on the back and it doesn't look so nice, but it is the back and hopefully won't be seen.

This was a little kit. I have a couple of other "flapper" ornament kits that I will work on sometime soon.

This year's Smalls SAL is hosted by Mary at Mary's Thread.

Flapper Cat is cute Pamela! I wouldn't worry so much about the back because as you say...it is the back!

Such a cute cat!
For my perforated paper ornaments, I usually put them on the felt before cutting them out, so I cut paper and felt together and the fit is exact. (I also try to make those harsh corners a little rounder/softer, but that's not always possible without endangering the threads on the back...)

Your little flapper cat looks fine, and the back won´t be seen.

Nobody will look at the back, he’s too pretty on the front!
