Fashionable Ladies Progress

The stitchers met on Sunday to work on our Fashionable Ladies. I am really enjoying this project! While stitching and talking, we also had to inspect each other's projects to get ideas for our own.

If you've been reading my blog long, you know how I love my birthday.  I don't just celebrate for one day, I celebrate for the entire month of December.  This year's birthday is a "big birthday" in Japan, called Kanreki. My friends gave me a birthday cake and some special Kanreki gifts.

Thank you!  誕生日が大好き!

Well, it's a great idea to celebrate for the whole MONTH!! You received very thoughtful gifts from you friends. The more those little ladies adorned, the more I love them. Sadly I could not find the fabric so I'll enjoy watching your group work on theirs.
Merry Christmas---Happy Birthday Month
xx, Carol

You are making tracks --- that's one of my favorite pieces.

But more important, Happy Birthday! I'm all for continuing the celebration as long as anyone will have at it! I hope it continues to be terrific!

Happy "round" birthday! Keep the celebration going as long as possible.

The fashionable ladies are all looking good. Thanks for showing them all - it is interesting to see all the different outfits that have been designed so far by your stitching group.

These fashionable ladies never get boring to look at! Great work.
I love how much you enjoy your birthday. Happy birth-month! I read a little about kanreki and apparently it means you get to be a child again and enjoy live without all the responsibilities? Sounds like you need to have a lot of new fun adventures the coming year!
