Friday Finish - Winter Banner

I finished the stitching on this piece quite a while ago, and finally did the finishing. The stitching is done with silk thread and I made the twisted cording with DMC floss.

The chart for this design is called Seasons by Kathy Schmitz and comes with banner charts for all four seasons.

NOTE: I've attempted to change my email subscription system from Feedburner (which has been discontinued) to Mailchimp. I hope it works.  Can someone let me know if you receive my posts by email and the change over worked?  Thanks!

What a beautiful little finish. We sure could have used some of those cool temps in your piece. We reached record high temperatures for three days. I can't believe you made the twisted cording yourself. It is beautifully done. Mine never look that even. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous finish! Happy stitching! -Andrea

It's a charming design and I love the unusual colours.

I check my Reading List from the Dashboard several times a day and have had no problem knowing when people past now things. I have never relied on email notifications, so don't know if the new system works for you.

I received your comment by Email, no problem there.
Your winter cross stitch is gorgeous. Using silk thread must be harder to work with the fabric - the outcome is perfect.
