I now have seventeen rows of twelve hexagon flowers connected. I thought I was getting close, but when I spread it out on the bed, I see I need several more rows at the top. Hanging on the laundry pole does not show how big it needs to be on the bed. This next week I will be cutting more fabric and making more hexagons and maybe more flowers.

It is hard to estimate exactly how much one needs for a bed cover, the overhang needs more than one thinks. Don't worry, the work will be worth it in the end, It is looking great already.
Just add a few columns to the top and you've done.
You work quickly, so you're almost done.
