Monday Morning Star Count

Today is a national holiday in Japan - Autumnal Equinox Day.  I've always felt like this day meant the first day of autumn.  This year, it continues to be hot and summery. The seasons are not what they used to be.

This week I spent a good bit of time attaching flip edge hexagons and have almost two sides of the bedspread with attached hexagons.

Maybe I'll get back to doing some quilting of the flowers this next week.

It must be fun to play with them, getting them in exactly the right spot!

So many pretty colours, it's nice to see it come together.

The seasons are really strange this year. You are still in summer, and we seem to have skipped right into winter!
