Work In Progress Wednesday
I put a few more lengths of thread into this blackwork band sampler.
I put in some white cross stitches and green outlining, but stitching white on white is a little difficult. After one afternoon of stitching, I put it away again.
I started a little crazy quilt project.
I decided to finish the little redwork piece from the stitch group project.
I'm happy to have so many things to choose from.

Work In Progress Wednesday
I'm still working on the house. My "Finish What I Start" pledge for this year is keeping me from putting it away. I have to say I am enjoying it.
I finished this little redwork girl, but there are several more that I want to stitch and put together, so this isn't a total finish yet.

Stitch Group - New Project
One finished redwork project - a pouch with four red fabrics and a red zipper!
Four of us met last Sunday and started a new project, with the finishing of the redwork projects continuing.
The new project is a bargello bell, which can be finished into an ornament, or maybe a brooch. We'll see. The project uses nine colors of DMC floss, plus some gold metallic thread, stitched on 28 count linen. There was a lot of concentrating, so not so much talking. I did learn one new word though- ケチ (kechi), which means miser.
At tea time we saw these little neighborhood cats curled up on the back porch. How cute they are!

Sunday Stitch Group
Last week, my creative friends got together to continue with our redwork projects.
First we had a little show and tell. One person finished her second kogin project, a sweet little bag.
One person wasn't with us last time, but she made up her key ring in the meantime.
I don't understand everything that is being talked about, but I do the best I can. It's good to learn new words.
One person is putting her stitched piece on a bag she is making.
One person is making a runner for her piano.
Two people are making little pillows.
The fifth person was at Disney Sea, so I don't yet know what she is making hers into.
Our next project will be a small bargello ornament.

6 & 6 in 2018 - February Report and WIPW
This month for 6 & 6, I didn't do much! I worked on my Kogin bag a little, after I had to unstitch a little when I miscounted. You can check out who is joining in on Meredith's blog here.
As far as Work In Progress Wednesday, not a lot to show there either. I started a new cross stitch project and put in a few more stitches on the redwork.
Maybe I'll have more to show next time.

Work In Progress Wednesday - Hiding Progress
Thank you Vireya for letting me know this is a Brenda Ryan design. Sally also told me it was stitched by Lynn B. as a gift for her sister. Check out the links to see the free pattern and the finished pieces.

Work In Progress Wednesday - New Project
I'm starting a new project - Redwork done in Blue! I don't have much done yet, but it will come along.
I saw this pattern (Fairies Hiding) years ago on someone's blog and saved it, but now I can't find where it came from. If you can identify it, please let me know so I can give credit.
