Purple Bead and Cross Stitch Necklace Finish

I like it, especially the colours, as I am a sucker for purple. My old Japanese aunt belonged to a bead craft club and they made long ribbon like necklaces similar to this one. I know they took many hours to make, so appreciate all the hard work you have put into this one.
Gosh the necklace looks nice. Did you count how many beads went into making it - or are beads measured by weight? You certainly have a lot of patience to make something as intricate as this. I do admire you.
