I put together ten new flowers this week.
I have
two double strips put together already and have the flowers laid out for
another single strip. Once I get that
put together, I can join it up with the two double strips. I think I’m going to
have to add a few full flowers and some partial flowers to even it up.
Check
back next week when I hope to have the whole thing laid out….

Amazing pictures of those beautiful birds !
Lovely, lovely flowers, too, keep going ! I'm curious seeing the whole together *Ü*
Friendly threads from my little country corner, in Belgium.

That little sprinkling of red will add a lot of pizzazz to the whole quilt. Ten flowers in a week, good going, Pamela!
Yes such attractive birds to sit and watch, what a privilege. I have cats so tend to see birds as they are flying away, fast!
Love your hexis and don't they look lovely all in blues like that too : )
I began a hexi cover last year before I began packing to move, although I haven't found it yet, in all the unpacking and getting settled arghhhhh and am just hoping I haven't donated it to charity by mistake!
But my inspiration was from a hexi quilt made by Michele Pacey of the Michele made Me blog and I really liked her edging too. Might be worth taking a look to see how she edged hers to see her neat edgings, although hers isn't flowery in design.
She backed it with a fabric and stitched round all the edges............she has lots of patience that lass lol
Adorable flowers. :) Great progress too!
Beautiful Hexagonflowers.
The little bird is very cute.
Greetings, Manuela
Fun to see all the new fabrics you've added. The whole thing next week? Yay!!!
What pretty blues.
The middle bottom is my favorite. The birds are so cute.
I love the blues and like the way that you are doing them with no path just flowers, makes it look like a flower garden.
Thanks for telling us about Michele's blog... I had not seen it before and love her Hexie quilt. I can tell I will spend hours of time looking at archives on her blog.
Love the birds and wonderful progress! Really excited to see the progress next week!
Oooh, I'm seeing so many beautiful blue hexies everywhere & loving it! Here is a tutorial on how to finish a hexie quilt with hexies: http://badskirt.blogspot.ch/2010/05/tutorial-finishing-you-hexie-quilts.html (not my tutorial but one I'm planning to use too).
