Nan Desu Ka

Naan desu.

This is kind of a joke when we eat at the Indian restaurant (Bombay Blue) near our home. Nan desu ka means what is it?  Naan desu means it’s naan, the big Indian bread served at Bombay Blue.

It is similar to when you want to confirm that you are eating bread. これはパンですか?え、パンダよ!(kore wa pan desu ka? E, panda yo) and the answer is yes, it is certainly panda, ha, ha! I hope the naan was delicious with the curry.
