Stitch Group on a Rainy Sunday
It's the rainy season in Japan. I think it started a week ago. Umbrellas are everywhere.
Last Sunday, the stitchers met. We stitched on Assisi projects and practiced our language skills and discussed future projects. The next time we meet, we will work on our NHK partership quilt blocks (this year's theme is favorite animals). We discussed ducks and ducklings, why hedgehogs have hog as part of their name, polar bears vs. white bears, dogs and cats, and of course, Pandas.
Until we meet again...

Some lovely stitching happening there, the rabbit is very cute.
Such lovely work. And it is always fun to have discussions with other stitchers.
I am glad you had such a great time, Pamela. The stitched bunny is beautiful! Kisses, my friend.
Pamela: Its a perfect time to stitch when it is raining, it takes a persons mind off the weather.
Lovely projects.

Lovely stitching!
After 30 years in our current house DH saw a hedgehog in our garden! Yippee! We don’t use slug pellets and usually struggle to keep slugs and snails at bay. We had wondered why our young plants weren’t being devoured this year!
Look forward to seeing what you all decide to stitch for your quilt blocks.
Hugs,
Barbara xx
Nice progress and stitching. Sounds like a fun conversation and it looks like you had a good snack.
Thanks for sharing. Seems like we're in the cloudy season here.
Everyone looks very busy. The little rabbit Assisi is sweet
Now I wanna know why 'hedgehogs' have 'hog' in their name! I never knew I needed to know that, but now I do, haha.
I'm sure you ladies will stitch up some very pretty animals.
