Sunday Stitch Group - Dorset Buttons
We met on Sunday to continue working on dorset buttons. (I worked on a boro coaster). As usual, they are amazingly creative.
This one has a square center.
One person made all of these buttons, some made with rings and others with metal washers.
She found this book on amazon and it has many wonderful ideas.
More buttons were made and more ideas found on the internet. Using invisible thread to add a pin on the back proved challenging. It really seems to be invisible!

Fantastic buttons - I can fully understand the person who made a whole lot of them. It is such rewarding work as every button is unique.

It seems that there are many uses other than brooches.

Looks like everyone was having fun! I think the one with the little bouquet of flowers was my favourite.
