Fish in my Mailbox

I get advertisements in my mailbox more than I get real mail.  A common way to advertise in Japan is with little packets of tissues. I'm not interested in the offers that came with the tissues, but the packet of tissues with the little fish are so cute!

Pamela: What a wonderful idea to get someone attention, a very unique way to advertise.

Love the little fishes, I would see you stitching those.😁

They do look very cute. They could be turned into ornament designs by someone who was clever with a needle, I'm sure.

If you live in a big city you can get all the free tissue you need by looking out for the people standing in front of the stating handing out tissues.
This package was exceptionally cute!

I love goldfish, too.

Another example of colorful advertising and cute design, with something useful for free, smart!

One of the things Rick always brought home from his travels were those little packets of tissue for me, the kids, whomever. And I still have one or two tucked away somewhere and they're perfect for when I need tissues for my purse!

Such cute fish! And at least this is a type of advertisment that actually has some everyday use, instead of just producing lots and lots of waste paper.
